We’re gearing up for our next chapter, and we need a brilliant Office Manager to keep the engine running.
About the role:
Part-time, 25 to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role is 100% office based in Broadbeach and is perfect for someone who loves school-friendly hours. You will report to our Chief Operating Officer and sit at the centre of everything, not in the background but genuinely in the middle of it all.
Keep the office running smoothly, from shopping deliveries to office supplies and equipment orders to vendor or trades coordination.
Be part of the welcome team for new crew members, coordinating desk setup and helping them hit the ground running from day one.
Help create and then manage the office budget, verify invoices against what has been delivered, track expenses and flag discrepancies before they snowball.
Support event and travel coordination, from internal team events to expos and trade shows, and help the team with business travel bookings as needed.
Keep the calendar moving by supporting the leadership team with scheduling, meeting coordination and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Own our safety compliance as our designated Fire Chief, overseeing the Fire and Emergency Evacuation Procedure and liaising with our external safety provider.
Help make the space feel great. Our office has a distinct personality. You will help maintain that feel and support office fit-out or renovation projects as they come up.
Be ready when it counts, with occasional after-hours contact if something urgent comes up, and yes, rolling up your sleeves to move light supplies or reset a room when needed.
About you:
Proven experience in office administration or office management.
A proactive self-starter who takes full ownership of your domain, stays three steps ahead and is known for getting stuff done.
Genuinely hands-on and happy to get involved, whether that is stocking the kitchen, liaising with a tradesperson or coordinating a team off-site.
Financially sharp, with an understanding of budgets, the ability to verify invoices and the discipline to keep expenses on track.
Tech-savvy and forward-thinking. You are comfortable with AI tools, pick up new platforms quickly and are always looking for smarter ways to get things done.
A natural communicator who adapts easily across our mix of tech engineers, marketers, call centre team members, finance gurus and the executive team.
Strong with Microsoft or Google Suite, especially spreadsheets, and comfortable picking up scheduling and expense management tools.
An eye for how a space feels, not just how it functions. You notice the details that make an office a place people actually want to come to.
Experience with event coordination or travel bookings is a bonus.
